As we start off the 2010 season, it's time for some reflection and thanks to all that have been so supportive over the years!
The STANLEY family has owned the pier for over 38 of those years, and I can safely say that there have been a heck of a lot of fish caught on the 8200 block of EMERALD ISLE since 1960! ............ As you can see, we have rebuilt our website, and after careful inspection, we hope you will be pleased with the results!
I would like to thank CHRIS HILL [ www.grasscats.com ] from Kinston, NC, for his gracious help setting up our new and improved format! ............. His time and effort is enhanced by my son, KEVIN STANLEY, who is the webmaster and curator of pictures and information included in the new format (I'll bet your picture is in the GALLERY somewhere!)............ So enjoy the new website; you will find informative additions from DR. BOGUS [ www.ncoif.com ] who is our resident expert for fishing information and daily water temperature data! ............ We owe a great debt to his service, and appreciate his dedication to finding the best fishing in our area! ............. So it's time to get on with the 2010 season; we are stocked up and ready to go for the MARCH 12th OPENING!
